POSITION : Marketing Coordinator

LOCATION: Allergy Free Baking Company/ Remote

TYPE OF POSITION: Part-time, 15-20 hours

COMPENSATION: $16-22 per hour

BAKERY DESCRIPTION:
Founded in 2018, Allergy Free Baking Company (AFBC) is a dedicated gluten free, nut free and dairy free bakery specializing in flavorful and unique baked goods that everyone can enjoy. We are a locally owned, growing family business that is passionate about baking with natural and wholesome alternaBves. We also have a variety of products available that are free from eggs, soy and/or corn.

AFBC believes that not only is an allergy-free bakery a profitable thing to do, but it is also the right thing to do. Millions and millions of people have discovered they have food allergies and sensiBviBes, many of these being children. These individuals do not deserve to be excluded from delicious sweets and family meals. AFBC is unique because of the products we sell, which is what drives customers back and has spread the word of our bakery.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an energetic Marketing Coordinator to join our small team. The position is a part time, paid per hour and mostly remote job. As a Marketing Coordinator you will spend your time growing the customer base of the bakery. The Coordinator position will involve the creation and monitoring of social media content, fine-tuning and upkeep of the website, creation of ads, growing the SEO, perform data analysis and imagining and putting into effect other marketing strategies. The Coordinator must be creative, hard working, humble and a team player.

This position will report to the Bakery Manager/Owner. The Marketing Coordinator would mostly work remotely, but would be required to come into the bakery to meet with Manager/Owner and to take pictures of the products. The frequency can be negotiated.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

■ Grow social media presence, interact with followers and track visitor metrics

■ Ensure webpage is updated and fine tuned

■ Create weekly newsletter

■ Identify target markets and best marketing tactics

■ Stay current on website analytics and SEO tools

■ Growing SEO and performing data analysis

■ Take pictures of products

■ Creation of ads for local outlets

■ Imagining and putting into motion other marketing strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of marketing experience or education in marketing. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

■ Good organizational skills

■ Interest and experience in photography

■ Positive attitude and desire to be part of a fun and friendly team

■ Ability to interact with bakery staff positively

■ Capacity to build personal relationships of trust and respect with owners/manager
■ A strong work ethic, humble manner, and demonstrated willingness to go above and beyond when necessary
■ A desire and ability to effectively contribute to bakery culture and value practical wisdom, excellence, integrity, hard work, and conviviality

■ Excitement to grow our small business and engage more customers
